Prof. Dr. Murat Türegün began his educational journey and specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. With distinguished training at GATA and his time at the Cleveland Clinic, he became a professor in 1999. Dr. Türegün’s impact is global, contributing to scientific fields and serving patients with passion and precision. Early Years and Education Born in Ankara in 1963, Dr. Türegün continued his academic path with degrees from TED Karabük College, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and GATA Faculty of Medicine. Specialization and Training Between 1988 and 1993, Prof. Dr. Türegün refined his skills through specialized training at the GATA Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He then completed an additional year at the Cleveland Clinic’s Department of Plastic Surgery in 1997–1998. Academic Achievements Prof. Dr. Türegün earned the title of Associate Professor in 1999 and became a full Professor in 2005, making significant contributions to his field. His expertise extends to Hand Surgery as well as a subspecialty diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Her strong background in science continued with a Master’s in Biochemical Engineering, and she later enhanced her leadership and business knowledge with an Executive MBA from the London Business School, one of the top business schools in the world. For over 8 years, Dr. Türegün has also worked in the Medical Aesthetics field, providing advanced treatments such as injectable procedures. She holds more than 50 training certifications from leading academies, showing her deep understanding of human anatomy and facial aesthetics, as well as her commitment to safety, skill, and natural-looking results. Since 2017, Dr. Türegün has led a successful medical tourism business based in Istanbul, Turkey, helping clients from around the world access high-quality surgical and aesthetic care.
